Moon Palace in Cancun

An all inclusive vacation package is a great option for a honeymoon, especially if you just want to relax without having to worry about budgeting your money every day.

Read about Danielle’s honeymoon at an amazing resort in Cancun:

My husband and I had our honeymoon at the Moon Palace Golf and Spa Resort in Cancun, Mexico. Everything about our trip was amazing! The resort was all-inclusive and featured a fabulous golf course. The resort was enormous with two huge swimming pools and an amazing sandy beach with a romantic seaside restaurant. There were about 12 different restaurants with every cuisine from Italian and Authentic Mexican to French and Cafe-Americana, and not having to worry about budgeting throughout the trip made it that much more enjoyable. My husband fell in love with the breakfast buffet that they serve every morning, because they prepare any breakfast dish you like just the way you like it. There was a jewelry store on site along with a nightclub and there were various activities set up each night so there was always something to do. I had my hair and nails done at the on-site salon and we were even able to rent a car right there at the resort. American Express has an office setup there so that you could book activities off the property at discounted prices. We went to see the Mayan ruins at Chichen Itza. You can even get married at the resort, as they have wedding-moon packages and a bridal staff on site. We were able to see a couple of sunset weddings that were just beautiful. Since Moon Palace is part of six hotels operated by Palace Resorts, we could visit any of the other hotels in the chain and take advantage of our all-inclusive privileges. So, when we visited the hotel zone, we had lunch at the Cancun Palace, which saved us money even away from the resort. The entire trip costs us about $3000 for the week and even though we could have booked it online, we still chose to use our local travel agent, who gave the place amazing reviews before we went. The staff is amazing and you will want to tip them but the resort has a strict no tipping policy. The trip was worth every penny and the favorite line for all of the men there was “these drinks/dinner is on me” because none of them actually had to pull out there wallet. The all-inclusive is the only way to go if you don’t want to be worried about budgeting throughout your entire trip. This all inclusive had everything but I’d still advise seeing your local travel agent so that you can get your flight bundled and pay for everything at one time. I would recommend this trip to anyone who wants the ability to do it all, as well as the option to do nothing without having to worry about a budget while they are on vacation.
