Hotels In Margarita Island

If you want an all-around affordable, relaxing, and fun resort stay with all-inclusive food, drinks, great shopping, casinos, lovely beaches, and just about anything you could ask for, the International Margarita Resort and Village may be the perfect destination for you. Sherri and her husband spent their honeymoon there and liked it so much they’re going back!

We took a flight from American Airlines to have our honeymoon at the Margarita Island located in the Caribbean, north of Venezuela, only a couple of hours from Miami. First we arrived at the International Airport in Caracas La Guaira and took a flight to the Island via an Aeropostal flight. It was such a nice flight; we had a lot of fun in the plane with other people that went with us to Margarita on our vacation. We stayed at The International Margarita Resort and Village. The resort was great; we had all-inclusive drinks, meals, and special visits to historic places. The rooms were very nice and comfortable, with air conditioning, cable TV, two large queen size beds, and a kitchenette. One day we went to the El Agua Beach where we had amazing activities and a very nice lunch, with many different types of fish, paella, salads, soups, and many other delicious menu items. We also had visited Isla Coche, which had beautiful white and sandy shores. Shopping was nice too; there is a big Avenue named 4 de Mayo and another named Santiago Mariño with many different kinds of stores that have great bargains; you can find all kinds of unique souvenirs in these shopping districts. At night we had fund at the Casino. Overall, the trip was kind of expensive, with our total all-inclusive package for two people coming, including airfare totaling almost $3,000. But it was well worth it, as the experience is incredible. We are going to make this trip again after we are able to save more money. The trip was an excellent opportunity to discover new places and to enjoy a vacation full of fun and relaxation.
