Paradise Found: Four Seasons Nevis

When you stay at the Four Seasons Resort on the island of Nevis, a boat ferries you from nearby St. Kitts and drops you off at a private wharf right in front of the resort! This paradise features amazing golf, gardens, beaches, water sports, snorkeling, and cuisine. You can even visit a volcano!

Check out what Mandy has to say about the Four Seasons:

My husband and I held a small and relatively cheap wedding so we could splurge on our honeymoon. We spent one week on the island of Nevis at the Four Seasons Resort and had one of the most amazing times of our lives. In order to get to Nevis, you must fly to the island of St. Kitts, and then take a boat, which docks right at the Four Seasons. It was a fun and beautiful boat ride, and the attendants were so friendly. We were also given free island punch which tasted delicious! The Four Seasons is a sprawling estate, with flowered paths, a world class golf course, tennis courts, a large section of beach, and even shuffleboard. Colorful lizards are everywhere and we even saw an iguana on the beach during our first day. We went golfing twice during our stay, even though we are terrible golfers the views from the golf course were amazing. The course winds up a mountain and at one of the wholes you can see the bay and sea stretching before you. We did a lot of water activities at the beach. We snorkeled and we did sea kayaking and even tried commanding our own catamaran one day, though that venture was fairly unsuccessful. Nevis has amazing snorkeling, and we drove not far off from the resort to a popular reef where we saw hundreds of unique and colorful fish and an enormous stingray. There was good snorkeling on the beach of the Four Seasons as well, and the water is so clear you sometimes don’t even need a snorkel to see the fish. The resort also provided us with amazing buffet-style meals, and for lunch one day we went to a small hotel up on the volcano. We did a two-hour hike after our delicious meal and saw tons of monkeys sitting around and playing in the trees. Though the town on Nevis is a little dumpy, there is a very good outdoor beach bar on the edge of town near the Four Seasons where they whip up delicious island drinks that you can sit in the sand and sip. The Four Seasons Resort at Nevis was truly an amazing experience, and I will always remember our romantic honeymoon there. I would love to go back sometime, and perhaps take our children, who love water sports. Nevis is not as well known as some of the other Caribbean islands, but it is certainly just as beautiful and worth the trip!
