Caribbean Carnival Cruise Fantasy
If you want to have the best of both worlds, exciting nightlife, food, drinks, and dancing on a luxurious boat, and then spend sunny days snorkeling, parasailing, beach bathing, and experiencing the history and majesty of a tropical island, a cruise to Nassau may be right for you. Read what Sandra said about her honeymoon on the Carnival Fantasy Cruise:
For my honeymoon my husband and I cruised on Carnival’s Fantasy ship and had a wonderful time. Our ship left from Florida traveling to two islands in the Bahamas: Freeport and Nassau. During our trip out, we had the pleasure of enjoying the nightlife in the night club, dancing into the early AM, followed by a quiet, restful sleep. The remainder of our trip down to the islands was spent watching the Austin Powers show, which was awesome and had tons of audience interaction, followed by time in the casino onboard the ship and just relaxing on the deck. Our trip was all inclusive with the exception of alcohol, which was paid per glass. The food on the ship was constant and delicious, and the Captain’s dinner was not only elegant but enjoyable as well. Once we reach the first island, which was Freeport, we enjoyed the duty free shopping, and the local culture was not only inviting but pleasingly energetic. While on the island of Freeport we decided to take an island tour and were able to see some of the history of the island, including the beauty of their beaches and landscapes. Once finished in Freeport, we moved onto the island of Nassau which was a bit different, but pleasant nonetheless. We had the opportunity to visit a smaller island while in Nassau during a day excursion that included the traditional island drinks, dancing, parasailing, and snorkeling. Once back on the ship we began our journey back to Florida, and unfortunately hit one of the worst storms the Captain said he had seen in years. We were unable to walk at times or even sit up, however every crew member on the ship was understanding, compassionate, and focused on the safety and security of each passenger aboard. I required seasick pills, and the porter brought them to my room within minutes to reduce my discomfort. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Carnival and their staff throughout our entire trip.
